ABOUT OUR FOUNDATION
The Rolando Jimenez Memorial Foundation is a Texas non-Profit Corporation operated exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donors can deduct contributions made to our foundation under IRC Section 170. We work to help local North Texas families with children in need due to a recent death of a father or mother. None of our Foundation Board Members or Officers draw a salary. Our corporate expenses and event costs are covered by the board members and sponsors so that every dollar raised at our events go to the families in need.
OUR CAUSES
TRANSITIONAL SUPPORT
Our main cause at the Rolando Jimenez Memorial Foundation is providing support to North Texas families that recently and suddenly lost a parent. Often the families we help lost a single income earner or have children with special needs or medical conditions. We host events to raise funds and make a one-time donation to the family as they make the very challenging transition to life without a parent.
SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS
As the Rolando Jimenez Memorial Foundation grows we look at additional ways to support families, and particularly children, that have been impacted financially by the sudden and unexpected loss of a parent. One of our most recent endeavors is looking to help ensure these children have a means to continue their education either through college or trade school. By donating to our Foundation throughout the year you can help fund these scholarships and help provide children a brighter future.
